Easy family dinners can come from your own kitchen but have the flavors of far away. I mean that you don't need to cook like the greatest Italian Chef to make an Italian inspired meal. You don't need to study in Thailand to use the characteristic flavors in a simple cooking method.



One absolute essential is the slow cooker beef bourguignon. Similar to the mixer, they take a lot of the work involved in cooking out of the equation. Combine the brown sugar, bourbon, and chili sauce in a bowl and mix well. Stir in the sausages. Spoon the sausage slow cooker beef bourguignon mixture into a baking dish. Bake at 350 for 1 hr. or until the sausages are cooked through. Cut into bite sized pieces. Serves 40.

Brown the chicken in skillet. Put chicken pieces in crock pot and then add all ingredients except cornstarch and water. Stir and cover; cook on low beef burgundy 8 - 10 hours. Set crock pot to high and combine cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl; stir until dissolved. Stir into the crock pot liquids. Keeping cover slightly ajar to allow steam to escape, cook until thickened, about 15 to 30 minutes. Serve over rice or with chow mein noodles.
